Evelyn Reyes


Evelyn is a sophomore at the University of Michigan. She's interested in majoring in Organizational Studies with a focus in Corporate Social Responsibility. She identifies as a low-income and first-generation Latina. She was proudly raised in Southwest Fresno, California and is passionate about providing opportunities to students with limited resources.

Aissa Cabrales


Aissa is a sophomore at the University of Michigan. She's Latina and grew up in a single parent household. She wants to be able to help students through the process by informing them of resources that can make the process easier and less stressful. She is from a suburb of Chicago and is interested in double majoring in Psychology and Spanish with a minor in Cultural Anthropology.

Stephane Estrada



Stephane is a sophomore at the University of Michigan. She is majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience, and minoring in Latinx/a/o Studies. She's a first-generation Chicana from the southwest of Chicago, IL. She's the oldest of three, and wants her brothers and other students to have equal access to educational opportunities and resources.

Esau Delgado


Esau is a sophomore at the University of Michigan. He is majoring in Sociology and Social Work. He was raised in a low-income single-parent household. He is also a first-generation Mexican-American from the southwest side of Chicago. Esau believes that all students, no matter their background, deserve the resources to achieve post-secondary opportunities. Esau is also a Campus Corp Leader for Students for Bernie at the University of Michigan.

Karina Vallejo Vasquez


Karina is a freshman at the University of Michigan. She is a first-generation/low-income student from the Grand Rapids area. Karina is a proud Latina and highly motivated on a personal level to create and share opportunities to those who come after her. She is considering a major in Computer Science and minoring  in Digital Studies, and Science, Technology, and Society (STS).


De La Rosa


Lisset is a first-generation Latina studying at the University of Michigan. She aspires to pursue a double major in Romance Languages and Literatures and in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She strives to provide resources and guidance for students and families with limited resources. She is passionate about helping them navigate the application course of post-secondary institutions and helping them achieve their goals.

Corina Juarez


Corina is a sophomore at the University of Michigan. She is working towards gaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a first-generation Latina from the Southwest side of Chicago, Corina can attest to the socioeconomic inequalities in education. As an advocate for educational equity, she seeks towards providing guidance and opportunities for students and families in need.

Angela Duran


Angela is a sophomore at the University of Michigan studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. She proudly represents Sturgis, MI.  She's also a first-generation Latina who grew up in a low-income household with three sisters and a brother .She wants her community and others from underrepresented communities to know about opportunities that are available to them.
